Jeans are comfy, unfussy and display tons of attitudes. But do you know what goes in to making that wonderful pair? It is denim fabric which snugly fits as jeans to withstand the rigors of day and night, for you!

Over 50 percent of denim production is based in Asia with China, India, Turkey, Pakistan and Bangladesh leading in that order. Have huge domestic markets, China and India have easily displaced the USA, once a leader of this category of textiles.

Ever hear the term ‘sexy’ advertising? It’s not necessarily what you think. Sure, some people’s idea of sexy advertising is hot babes in bikinis spraying beer all over each other, but that’s overtly sexual and not what we’re about to discuss here.

Do you engage sexy advertising in your marketing campaign? If not, you should.

“Sexy” advertising refers to ads that are highly targeted, yet artfully subtle – and therefore, extremely attractive to the key consumer.

I’m going to try and curb my use of the word ‘sexy’ now because I think it’s quite blatant, and therefore not sexy at all. So from now on we’ll try and call them ads that are “attractive.”

What makes an ad (or a person) attractive? People perceive the world through their senses- sight, sound, smell, taste, touch. So if you can appeal to them in any of these five ways, then you may very well become attractive to them.

Let’s talk about the word sensual. Not sexual, but sensual. What’s that mean?

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA reports strong sales for 1st quarter 2007, Tag Heuer strategy

Luxury goods manufacturer Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton reports that overall sales grew to 3.804 billion euros ($5.16 billion dollars) for the 1st quarter. The strong growth is led by demand on Tag Heuer watches. Film stars Brad Pitt, and golfer Tiger Woods are used in the advertising of these watches.

Controversy for Kate Moss’s Topshop Collection

It seems that there some controversy between Jeff Banks and Topshop. Jeff Banks, a Scottish Fashion designer, has put in question Kate Moss input on Topshop’s new collection.

“Can Kate sharpen a pencil or draw a matchstick man? Banks asked. “I wouldn’t put money on it. I’ll bet [Kate Moss just grabbed one of her many Prada bags, rifled through her wardrobe … and turned up at Topshop’s head office in Oxford Street for a quick hour’s briefing with the in-house designers and buying staff.”
