Fashion and Art come together yet again for a fabulous partnership. This week kicked off the beginning of Movies on Madison. In which, shops and boutiques will feature in their windows a film (posters, other film related paraphernalia, and film info) from the Tribeca Film Festival. Participating stores will also hold private receptions and give a portion of their sales to the Tribeca Film Institute.

1 Comment » April 19th, 2007 Fashionista John Galliano was ordered to pay 200K euros to photographer William Klein. Galliano used Klein’s “atmospheric imagery†in an advertising campaign.
“Klein’s giant versions of contact sheets showing a series of photographs, painted over in colored enamel to highlight particular images, were a popular feature of a recent exhibition at the Pompidou Centre in Paris.

April 17th, 2007 Fashionista NYTimes article about Anand Jon, a NYC fashion designer who was charged with 32 counts of rape, and other crimes against a dozen women. He has been released after posting $1.3 million dollar bail.
